This is a yarn painting that measures 24" x24" Eliseo Castro was a young man when Kal Muhler took the photos of him that ended up in the book Art of the Huichol ed. K. Berin 1978. Today there are many artists who interpret their myths and beliefs using the traditional yarn technique but Don Eliseo has that mistic style that harks back to the old days when we all lived a simpler life.
