Dear friends and clients, during these difficult times we have had to make a number of adjustments to our business model, to ensure the level of service that everyone has come to expect from us, we are now offering FREE DHL or Fedex express shipping on this piece. This wood has large quantities of water, thus it is very malleable and easy to carve. Due to the large quantities of water and all the coats of paint, the average time to make a wood carving is 8 to 10 months. The Alebrijes mainly come from two towns in Oaxaca called San Martin Tilcajete and Santiago Arrazola. The people from these towns hand carve and paint the Alebrijes. This is a gorgeous hand carved and painted that stands 6.5" tall , 7" Long and 3" wide. Please feel free to write us if you have any questions regarding any of the pieces in our collection or the Wood carving Alebrijes .
