This is a fabulous Jaguar Head that measures 7" from the back of the head to the tip of its nose and is 5" from ear to ear.

The piece By Isandro Villa Lopez is the grandson of Jacinto Lopez Ramirez, an older Huichol shaman considered to be the grandfather of the commercial bead art. Isandro lives in  Agua Zarca the families ranch about 2 hours from San Andres Cohamiata the ancient Ceremonial Center deep in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Western Mexico.
